MEMBERSHIP of the group is open to anyone interested in the activities of the Group. Subscriptions are payable in October.

Annual subscription - £20.00.

Student membership - £3.00.

Admission to individual lectures for non-members - £4.00

Meetings normally start at 7.15 pm except the AGM, which starts at 7 pm.

Venue is the Lecture Theatre, Tullie House, Castle Street, Carlisle.

Kendal Historical and Archaeological Society

Meetings are held at the Castle Street Community Centre, on the fourth Monday of each month, at 7.30pm.

Annual Subscription is £10.

Visitors are welcome to lectures - £3/lecture.

Penrith Affiliated Group

The Penrith Affiliated Group was wound up with effect from 31st August 2022 and the remaining financial assets transferred to the CWAAS.  Any future questions about the group should be directed to the CWAAS Honorary General Secretary.

South West Cumbria Historical and Archaeological Society

Annual subscription for membership of the society is £6 for adults and is due at the AGM or at a subsequent meeting.

VISITORS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN ANY OF OUR MEETINGS but are requested to make a contribution to the costs, Visitors £3, Members £1

The meetings are usually held at the Egremont Market Hall Supper Room are as follows: Friday meetings are held from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday afternoon meetings from 2pm until 4pm.

All talks are followed by tea and biscuits (No charge).

The entrance to the Market hall is at the end of Market Street beside the Town Hall. The Supper Room is on the 1st floor. A chair-lift is available.
