Three issues per year - one of the benefits of CWAAS membership.

News is included as part of the Society mailing and is delivered to all Society members in early March, early July and early November each year.

The mailing includes flyers for forthcoming Society events, information on other Society matters, as well as flyers for books of local interest. One mailing will include the annual volume of Transactions.

The deadlines by which copy should reach the Editor are:

  • Spring Issue: 1st February
  • Summer Issue: 1st June
  • Autumn Issue: 1st October

Articles should not exceed 500 words except by arrangement with the Editor. The editor can be contacted via the contact form on this website.

You can download copies of all issues of the Newsletter/News that are more than one year old.

Each issue of News, which normally is about 20 pages, carries many articles of interest as well as containing details of forthcoming events for the Society and affiliated groups. Important local events for other similar organisations will also be featured.

There are sections for membership matters, which details new members, as well as reports from committees.

The bookshelf section will feature reviews of recent publications likely to be of interest to members. Useful contacts within the society are also provided.
